About Andy Hewitt

Music has always been my escape, a voyage away from reality into a world where everything is perfect. Whether that was growing up to the sounds of Oasis or using my own music and song writing as a way to cope with the problems that life throws at us all.

As a man I always find it incredibly difficult to talk about mental health and what truly is on my mind, however song writing sets me free. Subjects I can’t talk about I can write a song about, share my struggles and find a clearer path.

Following life changing events over the last few years I decided to release my music in the hope that sharing my struggles would help others who felt lost in their own journey.

Together we will be ok.

"When I Sing Our Song" reached number one in the Australian Country Music Charts and number eight in the UK.

My main musical influences would have to be Oasis, without whom I would never have picked up a guitar. After being taught the chords to Wonderwall I used their music to teach myself guitar and over twenty years later here I am. Mix that with an obsession on everything about The Beatles and my love for the melancholic tones of Ryan Adams and you probably have the basic ingredients for my sound.

I am originally from Staffordshire in England and now live with my family in Somerset where we have a smallholding with lots of animals to keep us busy.
